The coronavirus pandemic has wreaked its havoc all across the globe. The life-threatening virus has taken the lives of 2 lakh individuals around the world and most countries are under lockdown to tackle the situation. Along with the human existence, the pandemic has also taken a toll on sports scenario around the world.

All major tournaments including the much-awaited IPL 2020 have been postponed indefinitely to aid in the battle against COVID-19 outbreak. Amid such a stern situation, cricketers are left with no other option but to spend their quarantine period on social media. David Warner, who was set to lead Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2020, has also been spending time on social media in the absence of cricket.

The Australian southpaw has been spending time with his family and has been uploading content on his social media where he can be seen with his daughters. Warner has hogged the attention by uploading many hilarious TikTok videos with his wife and daughters.

David Warner was assigned the captaincy role in IPL 2020

Meanwhile, Warner’s daughters made another special appearance, this time during a chat show, and split the beans over their favourite cricketer and their favourite Indian cricketer. The Aussie star’s daughters wished ‘good luck’ to Virat Kohli during their appearance on Sony Ten Pit Stop Live Chat and named him as their favourite cricketer. Both the daughters were quick to point out that Kohli was their ‘favourite Indian cricketer’ while their father ‘Davey’ was their favourite cricketer.

Warner further asked his daughters if they wanted a photograph with the Indian skipper. Both Ivy and Indy responded in a positive way and said that they wanted a selfie from the India star.

33-year-old Warner was all set to lead the Sunrirsers Hyderabad in the thirteenth edition of IPL. This was the first occasion when the southpaw was going to take charge of any side as a skipper after his infamous ball-tampering sentence.

However, BCCI postponed the tournament for an indefinite period due to the novel Coronavirus outbreak. Moreover, the chances are quite slim that the tournament might be organized in the ongoing year.
