Jasprit Bumrah, the prolific Indian pacer was recently involved in a candid conversation with Yuvraj Singh on Instagram. The latter asked some tricky questions to him during the live session. It was undoubtedly by far the most difficult Q&A round up for the pacer.

After bidding adieu to international cricket, Yuvraj has become quite active on social media platforms. Now, in lockdown amid Coronavirus outbreak, his social media activities have increased in the last one month. Before Bumrah, he was also involved in an interaction with Rohit Sharma, the Indian opener and Mohammad Kaif.

Yuvraj Singh asks a tricky question from Jasprit Bumrah

During the live Instagram session, Yuvraj asked the Ahmedabad born pacer to pick the better middle-order batsman between him and MS Dhoni. In an answer to that question, the 26-year-old bowler mentioned that the task pick between the aforementioned players is like a kid given a choice to pick between his mother and father. “Choosing between Yuvraj and MS Dhoni is like choosing between Mum and Dad,” Bumrah said.

He also asked Yuvraj Singh if he remembers his partnership with MS Dhoni in Cuttack where the 38-year-old registered his highest ODI score. Bumrah recited that he has grown up watching partnership between them. Moreover, he used to feel quite happy whenever they used to bat together for Team India. In the end, he frankly said it is impossible for him to pick one between Yuvraj and Dhoni.

“Do you remember the Cuttack ODI where you registered your highest one-day score? The entire dressing room was elated that day because, for me, I grew up feeling happy whenever you both stitched a partnership together. It’s a genuine answer I can’t pick one,” Bumrah said during the Live Instagram session.

Later on, Yuvraj Singh praised the pace bowler for his incredible performances in Test format. Also, he backed him to continue with the same going into the future irrespective of any external pressure from his critics. According to the former Indian all-rounder, the 26-year-old holds all the skillset to become the number one bowler in the world across all the formats.

“You need to believe that you are going to be the No.1 Test bowler in the coming years. You need to have that belief irrespective of what everyone says outside… Your target should be to become No.1 bowler in all three formats. You are probably one of the most mature guys in the team,” Yuvraj said.
